Rachel qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and joined Keoghs in 2009 as a partner after 12 years′ service at a national defendant firm. She has over 19 years′ experience in the local authority sector with a caseload that has included slips/trips, workplace claims, failure to educate and complex claims including allegations of assault in the field of education/social services. She has also successfully defended a widely publicised defamation claim.

Rachel has acted for various local authority clients including Salford City Council, Rochdale MBC and Tameside MBC. In addition Rachel has extended her expertise to the Social Housing market acting for a number of housing associations assisting in defence of claims pertaining to landlord and tenant issues.
